Canada’s Premier Food Corridor (CPFC) is a regional initiative representing municipalities and economic development organizations working to advance and promote the agri-food sector in our region.
Located in Southern Alberta, the corridor brings together communities with strengths in agricultural production, food processing, research, innovation, transportation and supporting industries. CPFC showcases these regional advantages and helps investors, businesses and entrepreneurs identify relevant communities, opportunities and resources.
Each participating municipality supports its local community and serves as the primary contact for investment inquiries, available land, municipal development processes and local business information.
Our Vision
To be recognized as a world-class agri-food corridor where businesses, communities, researchers and industry partners contribute to sustainable economic growth and help shape the future of food production, processing and innovation.
Our Mission
To strengthen the visibility and competitiveness of our region’s agri-food sector through regional promotion and by connecting investors, businesses and entrepreneurs with relevant communities, opportunities and resources.
Working Across Municipal Boundaries
Agri-food businesses and supply chains extend beyond municipal boundaries. CPFC allows participating communities to showcase the region collectively while continuing to respond to local opportunities and priorities.
Together, the corridor’s communities offer access to productive agricultural land, established food-processing capacity, research and innovation expertise, transportation connections, infrastructure and a workforce experienced in agriculture and manufacturing.
Connect with a Community
Each participating community is the primary contact for local investment opportunities, available land, development processes, permits and business information.
Contact the appropriate municipal or economic development representative to discuss your project or learn more about opportunities in their community.
