Keynote speaker Subhayan Thakurta, Applied Research Chair of Data Driven Innovation at Red Deer Polytechnic, will present on “AI and advanced manufacturing as a solution to the labour gap” drawing on his expertise in innovation ecosystems and research data management.\nThe session will feature a panel discussion with John Duncan, Northern Regional Manager at Manufacturers’ Health and Safety Association and Omar Kayed, Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Future Now Immersive Innovation on the use of virtual reality training solutions. Panel discussions will explore topics including health, safety and efficiency, and integrating automation without compromising workplace safety. Speakers will share perspectives on how AI can improve productivity, redesign operational processes, and support workforce development.\n
